Decorative concrete

The durability of concrete with the look of stone, slate, or brick, at a fraction of the upkeep of pavers.

Smooth architectural concrete

Finishes & colors

Swatches are approximations. We'll bring physical samples to your site visit.

Natural gray

Sandstone

Desert tan

Terracotta

Charcoal

Sage gray

Stamped

Ashlar slate, cobblestone, wood plank, and running-bond brick patterns.

Integral color

Color mixed throughout, so chips and wear show less.

Stains

Acid and water-based stains for variegated, natural tones.

Exposed aggregate

The surface paste is washed off to reveal the stone. Great traction.

Care & sealing

Decorative concrete looks best when it's sealed. We apply sealer after curing and recommend resealing every two to three years, depending on sun exposure and traffic.

Around pools, we use sealers with slip-resistant additives, because glossy sealers on a stamped surface can get slick when wet.

Questions

Is stamped concrete better than pavers?

Each has trade-offs. Stamped concrete has no joints for weeds or ants and is a single solid slab. Pavers can be lifted and reset individually if the ground shifts. We'll talk through which fits your site.

Can you stamp or stain existing concrete?

Existing slabs in good condition can often be stained and sealed. Stamping requires fresh concrete, so it would mean an overlay or a new pour.
